I was born into a Vaisnava family in Ahmedabad, India. My grandparents were well-known educators in North Gujarat and first introduced me to Vedic scriptures during my childhood. They recognised my curiosity early and encouraged me to study the Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita, and the Puranas as symbolic teachings that shape dharma, ethics, and character. Those foundations paved the way for my Jyotisa studies in my thirties.
After completing a Master's in Pharmacy in New York and an MBA in Virginia, I spent more than a decade in the global pharmaceutical industry while also building restaurant ventures in Toronto. In 2023, I made the difficult but necessary decision to leave a secure corporate career and pursue entrepreneurship full time so I could dedicate more time to studying astrology within the Guru-Sisya tradition and travel to India as often as needed.
I follow the Sri Achyuta Dasa tradition of Jagannatha Puri, one of the most ancient Parampara-based Jyotisa lineages. Studying directly with Param Guru Sri Sanjay Rath, I honour a living Guru-Sisya discipline that safeguards the original precision and spirit of classical astrology.
Jyotisa is, to me, a sacred tool for self-inquiry and purposeful living, not merely prediction. Carrying that essence, I now mentor students through my affiliation with the Divine Jyotish School of Canada.
